The fall used to be our "quiet time", when we had wrapped up summer events, and not yet started full planning for the next year... but 2015 brought new board members, new ideas, and new energy to help the Team continue to Pay It Forward. Support from the community, and everyone who has come to believe in the power of working together, continues to provide much needed assistance to families in the Winona area who are dealing with cancer. The new application process is allowing the support to be available year round. Joe would be proud.
Greetings to Team Vogel! On Saturday, October 3, Team Vogel vs Cancer will be joining in the fun at the Harlem Ambassadors vs Winona Sugarloafers Basketball Game. During the event, an autographed basketball will be raffled off, with Team Vogel receiving the proceeds of that raffle. If you have already bought your tickets, look for Team Vogel representatives selling raffle tickets during the game. If you haven't bought game tickets yet, you can click here to find out all the details. It's sure to be a SLAM DUNK! A NEW EVENT! As always, THANK YOU, to everyone who takes a moment to Pay It Forward by joining in one of the events, taking a moment to lend a helping hand, listening, and giving a hug... a community working together.
