Before I get to my google addiction - I will share with you my decision on the piece of pie...

I did not buy the pie.  I really thought long and hard about this - and continue to think about it...  I went for the life lesson this time - but I also think the boys deserved a piece of pie, for they were ok with not having one.  Next time - I will buy the pie and quietly share how much I appreciate seeing to young individuals ok with not having it all. 

...and now my love for google - or just internet surfing.

With work back in full swing, my mind is often fizzled out by the end of the day and coming up with a profound blog post...well it just isn't happening today.

So - I ventured off to google.  I love google.  I especially like image searching. 

Weird - Maybe.  Crazy - Yes I am.  But look at the fun things I found.

I was out biking with friends this weekend in Lanesboro and we made our way to Whalen for some of the best pie in the United States (according to the article on the wall and our stomachs).

As we entered the quaint little shop, I immediately became distracted by a group of young boyscouts ahead of us.  Each one picking out their piece of pie and paying for it.  They were smiling and thrilled to be out on this adventure.

Off to my left, I noticed two boys who were looking a little down - but not super upset...and that's when I heard one boy say - "Yeah, I don't have any money to get a piece."

My first reaction was - Poor Guys.  And then I thought - I could buy them each a piece of pie.  Show them strangers can do good things...

Then the thought crossed my mind - although I feel bad for these two youngs boys - this could be a good life lesson for them, you don't always get to have what others have...

To buy the boys the pie or not - that was my question...
