We are looking for all Team Vogel (even new Team Vogel members) to join us for the Steamboats Days Parade on Sunday, June 23.  We will be walking in the parade - handing out flyers for the fundraiser - and throwing candy.

If you and your family are able to walk with us - we would truly appreciate.  Please send Amanda a note if you are able to walk -

Thank You...

Thank you to everyone who helped make our annual hot dog and brat stand a success.  Thank you to Mike and Julie for all your planning - to Midtown for having us every year - to all the volunteers (you would be surprised how busy a hot dog stand can be...) and to everyone who stopped for lunch or ordered delivery.  It was a wonderfully busy day and the best way to share it with those who couldn't make it... ... and a Wonder from My Youth.

Being involved in sports in high school brought my attention to a small town - Janesville (and having family that lives in the area).  Traveling to Mankato - in the Big 9 Conference - created a wonder for many of us.  Every time we would near Janesville, the bus would begin to buzz, and the older athletes would being to share the story of the doll in the window.  I am surprised the bus never tipped over for once we hit Janesville - all individuals were on the right side to catch a glimpse.

My parents grew up in the area and had their stories to share too.

I am sad to share - it sounds like the doll will be finding a new home...
