Your Footprints.

Your footprints –

They’re everywhere.

They surround me.

Your prints cross my heart.

I see them in every memory.

I know your feet…

I know your toes.

(I know you need to cut your toenails.)

Your toes have touched the sand.

I wish they would touch me.

I miss your feet –

I miss you.

Your footprints are everywhere and I am grateful for the mark you left.

Did you leave your footprint somewhere?

Love - Rach

So I got my early Christmas present from Joe this morning!!! My alarm went off at 4:00 A.M. and instead of hitting the snooze I turned it off. I fell back to sleep and I had the best dream ever!!! The phone rang and I answered and Joe asked for mom or Mary(I'm not sure which). But I did recognize his voice. I was in shock!!! Mary was in the living room on her cell phone and I said she was busy... Could I take a message? He said no and I thought this can't be Joe but it was his voice. So I said who is this? And as I said that he hung up. I started crying like a little baby and went to Mary and hugged her and told her Joe had just called. I was so upset that I didn't let him talk to her. But really I was in shock the whole while. We hugged and cried and then all of a sudden I woke up and realized I had overslept. I know it was Joe making sure I got to work on time and letting us all know that he is still with us and he always will be. It is going to be a very tough Christmas without him but I know he is in all our hearts. And knowing and loving him has given us all a little glimpse of what heaven will be like. Merry Christmas to all of Team Vogel and all of our supporters throughout the year!!!
